Baylor Moves On to N.C.A.A. Women's Championship
Undefeated Baylor beat Stanford 59-47, breaking the Cardinal's 32-game winning streak and earning a face-off against Notre Dame in the N.C.A.A. women's basketball championship.
With 13 points from star junior Brittney Griner and a strong bench performance from Terran Condrey, the Lady Bears advanced after a tightly contested first half gave way to a largely one-sided finish.
A victory in the championship would give Baylor an N.C.A.A.-record 40 wins.
